Joseph Bowen

 

Joe Bowen is the Desktop Engineering Manager for Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, an affiliate of Atrius Health in Boston. 

Today, one of Joe's chief responsibilities is implementing new software initiatives to advance and improve the company's ability to provide superior quality healthcare to their patients and ease the workload of over 8,000 employees. 

He has been involved in the world of IT for over 25 years, from building and troubleshooting individual computers to writing basic software and database applications to leading teams for the purpose of managing the security, deployment and configurations for as many as 40,000 systems in over 1,500 locations in North America and internationally. 

He has worked in many different fields of industry, including retail, transportation/logistics, entertainment/movies, civil engineering, and most recently (last 12 years) in Healthcare."
