Impact and Opportunities from rapidly evolving Global Enterprise Network
Increased complexity, mobility, regulatory and embedded security requirements are driving rapid and profound change in the way global enterprise network environments are being designed, deployed and supported through out the world. This evolution requires a new generation of innovative services and solutions to be created and delivered. The presentation will consider current and emerging choices for services and solutions. Further, it will discuss the significance of enterprise and system criteria related to decision making and the expectations for future global network architectures.
Stephen’s responsible for leading R&D initiatives that create business value through the use of emerging technology. His areas of focus, which assist Fidelity in maintaining a competitive advantage include: Networking, Security, Telecommunications, Wireless, Multi-media and Mobile Services. In his architecture role, Stephen’s also accountable for crafting Fidelity’s comprehensive Telecom strategy and leading cross organizational consensus building and agenda setting. Being on the forefront of technology, Stephen collaborates with Fidelity Venture’s on new business opportunities. Prior to his latest appointment, Stephen was Vice President Internet Security, Engineering and Operations, where he worked closely with business units and partners to deliver secure and highly available services with in Fidelity’s E- business channel. Stephen has more than 15 years experience leading Engineering, Professional Service and IT organizations. Most recently he served as the Director of Systems Engineering for CoSine Communications. Before that, as Director of Systems/Network Engineering for SBC Communications, he was responsible for leading a large services organization focused upon the creation and deployment of enterprise network architectures for Fortune 1000 firms across the Northeast US. In addition, Mr. Singh was instrumental in the successful creation of multiple Professional Service Organizations and Consulting practices. Stephen holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Rochester. Stephen is an active member of the IEEE and sits on many vendor and industry advisory boards. Stephen has multiple patents pending around VoIP Security, Mobile Services and Multi- modal messaging. He’s currently researching the impact of Enterprise Mobile Convergence and Application-aware Network Identity Security.
